Pacifica: Two teens robbed at gunpoint in shopping center

Pacifica police officers responded to reports of an armed assault at the Linda Mar Shopping Center at about 4:50 p.m. on Tuesday. According to police, two unknown suspects held two teenage boys at gunpoint, hit them and robbed one victim of their backpack.

The suspects then fled the area.

One of the victims was transported to a local hospital for precautionary reasons, and the other was released to their family and planned to seek medical attention on their own.

Police said the incident may have stemmed from an altercation between two groups of teenagers in the parking lot at the shopping center near Pacifica State Beach.
