CHICO — A sidewalk corner completed at The Esplanade and West Third Avenue on Friday marks progress toward a large improvement project destined to bring more bike lanes and safer pathways for pedestrians in Chico.
The work, which the city calls the Esplanade Corridor Safety and Accessibility Improvement Project, includes a separate bike path, more street lights and a roundabout to the area north of downtown.
