Agency spokesperson Jim Allison did not have any condition immediately on the person in the trackway. He said the interruption in service happened around 8:20 a.m.

Trains in both directions were affected.

Allison said the situation was “resolved” by 9:10 a.m., and BART service resumed at that time.

County buses provided transportation for customers traveling between the two stations while the track was closed.
