Campbell residents say woman thinks they’ve taken out a hit on her

Jan. 22

1000 block of Bismark Drive: A stolen 2007 Prius was later recovered on Highway 101 at McKee Road.

2:37 p.m. in the 100 block of West Hamilton Avenue: A man, 52, was causing a disturbance in the area and was found to be intoxicated.

7:25 p.m. at Kim Louise Drive and Bucknall Road: Officers located a silver 2017 Nissan Altima that was reported stolen out of San Jose on Jan. 5.

7:47 p.m. in the 900 block of Ravenscourt Avenue: A man, 23, was knocking on the door and trying to enter. He was at the wrong location and was too intoxicated to care for himself.

300 block of Dunster Drive: Someone syphoned gas from the victim’s car and let air out of the tires.

500 block of East Hamilton Avenue: Someone took jeans and fled without paying.

Jan. 23

8 p.m. in the 600 block of Campbell Technology Parkway: Someone spray-painted the restroom walls.

8 p.m. in the 600 block of East Campbell Avenue: Someone spray-painted the restroom walls and damaged a sink.

10:38 a.m. at San Tomas Expressway and Winchester Boulevard: A man, 43, was stopped for a vehicle code violation, and it was determined he put a registration sticker on his car to avoid paying fees.

2:29 p.m. in the 100 block of Lottie Lane: Someone took packages from the victim’s porch and fled on a bike.

6:16 p.m. in the 500 block of Railway Avenue: A man, 27, went to the victim’s apartment in violation of a restraining order. He kicked the door open and fled as officers arrived. He was located hiding and was arrested.

8:46 p.m. in the 500 block of West Hacienda Avenue: Officers located a gray 2015 Lexus IS250 reported stolen on Jan. 21 out of Pittsburg. Two other plates were located inside the car.

5:26 a.m. in the 1100 block of South San Tomas Aquino Road: Two work trucks were burglarized.

Jan. 24

00 block of North Peter Drive: A woman has repeatedly called and emailed the victims, accusing them of hiring a hitman to kill her. The woman has emailed at least two or three times per day for the last seven months, sometimes sending up to 20 emails per day.

7:25 a.m. in the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A man, 35, was contacted during a welfare check and found to have outstanding warrants for burglary and drug offenses.

3:18 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard: Someone walked out the bakery exit with a cart full of items.

Overnight in the 1000 block of South San Tomas Aquino Road: Someone shattered a vehicle’s window and stole tools.

Jan. 25

Overnight at Laura Court and Marilyn Drive: Someone smashed a vehicle’s windshield.

Overnight in the 1700 block of Phantom Avenue: A white 2006 GMC Sierra was stolen from the driveway. A 2005 Honda dirt bike and a 2004 KTM dirt bike were in the bed of the pickup truck.

Overnight in the 2100 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone stole a silver 2014 Ford Focus from the street.

6:22 p.m. at West Campbell Avenue and San Tomas Aquino Road: A woman, 55, was the driver of a vehicle that collided with an EMS rig. She was found to be driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and was arrested.

7:46 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: A man, 23, was contacted after reports that he was shoplifting. He fled on foot but was apprehended.

7:46 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: A man, 32 was contacted after he was seen shoplifting. He was in possession of tools to defeat security devices and was under the influence of a stimulant.

2:40 a.m. in the 100 block of North Second Street: Someone forced entry into a vehicle and stole items.

4:23 a.m. in the 1000 block of Ridgeley Drive: A man, 36, was contacted after he was reportedly pulling car door handles. He was in possession of a methamphetamine pipe and someone’s credit card, and was under the influence of a stimulant.

Jan. 26

Overnight in the 400 block of Harrison Avenue: Someone entered a vehicle overnight and stole items.

2:05 p.m. at Cervantes Way and Xavier Court: An officer located an abandoned 2010 Infinity G37 that had been reported stolen on Jan. 5 out of Fremont.

2:05 p.m. in the 1200 block of Whiteoaks Road: Someone rented a White 2015 GMC Savanna and failed to return it.

3:16 p.m. at Creekside and Campisi ways: A woman, 22, was in possession of methamphetamine, burglary tools (postal keys) and multiple pieces of mail and personal ID information belonging to several people. Several items that were fraudulently purchased by her were recovered.

8:35 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: A woman, 35, was reported shoplifting. She was in possession of methamphetamine, a methamphetamine pipe and burglary tools and she was under the influence of a controlled substance. She had three outstanding warrants for theft.

8:58 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: A man, 29, and a woman, 28, were contacted after officers saw them smoking narcotics. Both were in possession of paraphernalia and were under the influence of a controlled substance. The man was also in possession of methamphetamine and burglary tools.

6:45 a.m. in the 2200 block of Central Park Drive: A man, 57, pushed the victim and snatched the phone out of her hand after she said she was going to call the police.

Overnight in the 1200 block of Whiteoaks Road: A white 2008 Ford Econoline Truck and a white 2015 GMC Savanna were stolen from a lot. The GMC was recovered.

12:25 p.m. in the 2100 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A man, 53, was reported as lying on the ground. He was also found to have eight outstanding warrants.

6:40 p.m. in the 100 block of West Hamilton Avenue: Someone took an iPhone 13 belonging to a business and fled.

12:25 a.m. in the 300 block of East Campbell Avenue: A man, 42, was too intoxicated to care for himself.

Jan. 28

2:29  p.m. in the 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue: Someone took food without paying.

1:11 p.m. in the 200 block of East Campbell Avenue: A man, 21, slapped the victim during an argument at a bar.
