CHICO — Tom Henderson, 76, fills a pothole on East Fourth and Laburnum avenues.

Henderson said he usually buys open bags at a discount and fills a bunch of potholes, but the store he shops at didn’t have any, so he paid full price — although he did get a veteran discount.

He plans to get some more bags soon and continue to fix holes.
