PHILIPPINE SEA — Electronics Technician Third Class Kyle Clarke, of Paradise, California, holds onto a phone-and-distance line during a fueling-at-sea Jan. 26, 2024 aboard Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton, CG 59 in the Philippine Sea.

The line is used to measure distance between ships while transferring items and fuel. Princeton is assigned to Carrier Strike Group One and deployed to the U.S. Seventh Fleet area of operations in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
