Stockton police after responding to a call Saturday morning about a man with a knife shot the man, and a woman was taken to the hospital with stab wounds, the Stockton Police Department said.
The person who called for police around 9 a.m. said their parents were arguing and that “Dad was going to stab Mom,” according to a police news release.
The department did not describe what occurred between its officers’ arrival at the scene in the 1500 block of E. 11th St. and the shooting. The gunshot victim was taken to the hospital. Neither his condition nor that of the injured woman were available, police said.
No officers were injured in the incident, police said.
