SAN JOSE — A man has been arrested in connection with a late-January shooting at a North San Jose hotel that left the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, authorities said Thursday.

San Jose police officers were called just after 6:30 a.m. on Jan. 30 for a report of a shooting at a hotel in the 1300 block of North Fourth Street, according to a police news release. Emergency dispatch recordings archived online confirmed that the shooting site was the Wyndham Garden San Jose Airport.

Responding officers found a wounded man, who was taken to a local with what were initially described as life-threatening injuries. But the victim was later stabilized and he is expected to survive, police said.
