February has an extra day this year, and Leap Day is a good time for music in Los Gatos.

The Los Gatos Library is hosting a family-friendly, participatory performance by percussionist, educator and musician Onye Onyemaechi on Thursday, Feb. 29, 4-5 p.m., that will offer a glimpse into African Village life.

Testarossa Winery hosts live music every Thursday at 5 p.m. at its Wine Bar 107 on College Avenue. It’s a laid-back ambiance where patrons can savor Testarossa’s wine with charcuterie and cheese plates. Coming up Thursday, Feb 29, is the Scott Cooper Trio, playing a mix of Beatles, Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, originals and more. https://www.testarossa.com/winebar107

Two upcoming concerts will showcase the talent of Los Gatos High School and Fisher Middle School musicians. The combined  bands will be on stage Tuesday, March 5, at McAfee Center in Saratoga. The joint orchestras will perform on the same stage March 8 at 7 p.m.
