— Walnut Creek Mayor Loella Haskew, after a man delivered an anti-Jewish diatribe during a City Council meeting aimed at Councilman Kevin Wilk that stunned city officials. Wilk said free speech “means we have to listen to awful and heinous comments” and apologized to “anybody that had to hear that horrible, horrible speech.”
