Back in 2012 when Steph Curry was catching fire in the NBA as part of the “Splash Brothers,” he and his wife Ayesha bought a posh penthouse in downtown Oakland for their small family of three for $1.475 million.

The 3,084-square-foot, three-bedroom, four-bath condo in The Ellington complex is now for sale for $1.689 million. It still has many of the upscale amenities the Currys enjoyed: two floors, an elevator, and floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the bay. There are also three balconies, an expansive patio, and a pool/spa and fitness center is available in the building.

The Currys sold the condo in 2014 for $1.499 million just before Steph won his first NBA championship and league MVP in 2015. That year, they would also welcome the birth of their second child, Ryan, and spread out in a mansion in Walnut Creek.

You can see the Currys at home in the penthouse in a news clip featuring a day in his life.

Through the years as Steph’s family grew to include three children in all (Riley, Ryan and Canon) and many more trophies, the Currys moved to other jaw-dropping properties in Contra Costa County. After the Warriors’ move across the bay from Oakland to San Francisco in 2019, however, the Currys settled in the South Bay town of Atherton.
