PARADISE — As many now know, Bille Park is the site of the Camp Fire animal memorial where survivors can go to honor their furry, feathery and scaly family members lost in the 2018 wildfire.
The memorial was opened to the public in 2022 and has since gathered trinkets, painted stones and even small statues dedicated to lost pets and animals.
Pet names are written on rocks and stones and placed at the memorial, each representing a different loved one.
