CHICO — Here are three fun events to partake in this weekend in Butte County.

Family festival

Celebrate Chico will be held today from 4-9 p.m. at City Plaza. This is an event celebrating local businesses.

The community is invited to this free, family-friendly event with live music, DJ sets and lively entertainment including jugglers, balloon artists, face painting, a vendor fair, classic car show and performances by Azad’s Martial Arts, Irayz Movement Arts and more.

Comedy

Saturday night, Venom Comedy presents Girls Night In at Gnarly Deli located at 243 West Second St. This is a comedy show and pajama party for women. The show is headlined by Heather Rogue, includes Annie Fischer and Diana Ramsey, and will be hosted by Gigi McG.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Stay for Strut afterward. Tickets are $10 ahead of time through allevents.in or $15 at the door.

Seating is first come, first served.

Paint and Sip

Allies Pub hosts a Wildflower Paint and Sip event Sunday from 1-3 p.m.
