PARADISE — The town of Paradise is conducting a special meeting Monday morning to discuss preserving housing in the downtown area.
“As the town rebuilds, there are different options that can be taken to preserve the town’s ability to shape the reconstruction of the downtown into a vibrant, walkable hub in the heart of town that fosters successful retail businesses, a variety of restaurants, and music and art venues,” the staff report reads.
According to the staff report, the meeting could lead to zoning amendments or urgency ordinances and eventually an update to the town’s master plan.
Currently, Paradise’s downtown area is zoned for a mix of residential and commercial uses.
The meeting is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at the Paradise Council Chambers at 5555 Skyway.
