Making progress

PARADISE — Just as one cloud of dust settled around the new Honey Run Covered Bridge construction site, a new one emerged.

Heavy machinery was used Tuesday to work on the ground surrounding the bridge. A dozer and an excavator were used to move and clear dirt while workers on the ground focused on tighter areas.

The bridge’s construction has been an ongoing process since the original bridge burned during the Camp Fire. Substantial progress has been made over the past year and the bridge is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
