Driver points firearm at victim in argument over collision in Campbell

March 18

UNDER INFLUENCE OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 8:43 p.m. in the 900 block of West Hamilton Avenue. A woman was in the store for approximately one hour, concealing items in a bag. She was found to be under the influence of a stimulant and placed under arrest.

THEFT: 7 p.m. in the 400 block of East Hamilton Avenue. Someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole approximately $215 worth of tools and supplies.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, RESISTING OFFICERS: 7:40 p.m. in the 100 block of Superior Drive. A man was reported to be causing a disturbance and was found to be drunk in public. He resisted officers and was placed under arrest.

March 19

PETTY THEFT: 4 a.m. in the 2500 block of Oak Park Lane. Two suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and took a bag.

GRAND THEFT: 8 p.m. in the 00 block of North Peter Drive. The catalytic converter was stolen from a 2006 Toyota Prius.

March 20

UNDER INFLUENCE OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 3:25 p.m. in the 600 block of East Campbell Avenue. Officers contacted a man during a disturbance call. He was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and had an outstanding warrant.

PETTY THEFT: 6:44 p.m. in the 1900 block of South Bascom Avenue. Someone walked into a store and walked out without paying for about $30 worth of items.

March 21

APPROPRIATE LOST PROPERTY: 5:05 p.m. in the 2300 block of Winchester Boulevard. Officers contacted a man who was in possession of property that did not belong to him and marijuana.

ROBBERY: 4:10 p.m. in the 2300 block of Winchester Boulevard. The suspect entered a store, stole merchandise, then punched the victim in the stomach.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, POSSESSION OF BURGLARY TOOLS: 9:19 a.m. in the 1600 block of Grace Avenue. A man walked on to the victim’s property after she observed him casing the neighborhood. He was placed under arrest and found to be in possession of burglary tools.

VEHICLE THEFT: in the 100 block of South First Street. A white 2014 Lexus 250 was stolen.

VEHICLE THEFT: 5:45 a.m. in the 00 block of Heritage Village Lane. A 2016 Lexus was stolen.

VEHICLE THEFT: 2:41 a.m. in the 00 block of Heritage Village Lane. A 2019 Camaro was stolen.

BURGLARY: 6:27 a.m. in the 400 block of East Hamilton Avenue. Officers responded to a burglary in process.

PETTY THEFT: 7:50 p.m. in the 2300 block of Winchester Boulevard. A man came into a business and stole items. He was later contacted by police officers.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE/PARAPHERNALIA, RESISTING OFFICERS: 6:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of Winchester Boulevard. A man called 911 multiple times without reporting an emergency. He had an outstanding warrant. He resisted arrest and had to be taken to the ground. A search incident to his arrest revealed narcotics and drug paraphernalia on his person. He was also found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

March 22

EXHIBITING FIREARM IN A THREATING MANNER: 8:45 p.m. in the 600 block of East McGlincy Lane. During an argument over a collision, the suspect brandished a firearm at the victim, then fled in a Lexus sedan.

MINOR IN POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL, CONTRIBUTING TO THE DELINQUENCY OF A MINOR: 9:25 a.m. in the 1500 block of More Avenue. Officers contacted the suspect, who was found by school staff to be in possession of alcohol as a minor and was furnishing alcohol to another student.

BURGLARY: 7 a.m. in the 3400 block of South Bascom Avenue. A caller contacted police regarding a neighboring business being burglarized. Officers arrived on scene and saw that the suspect forcibly entered the business. The victim later arrived on scene and recognized that approximately $1,000 had been stolen.

BATTERY: 6:49 a.m. in the 900 block of Ravenscourt Avenue. The suspect caused an argument with her spouse regarding infidelity. The victim denied the allegations, and the suspect hit him, causing his glasses to fall out of his hands. The suspect was on active and searchable probation for domestic violence and had two active warrants for her arrest. She was the restrained party in a served, peaceful contact order protecting the victim. She fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.

March 23

APPROPRIATE LOST PROPERTY, BATTERY ON OFFICER POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA: 12:05 p.m. in the 1200 block of Camden Avenue. A woman was in possession of drug paraphernalia and other people’s banking cards and mail. She displayed objective signs and symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. She kicked an officer in the knee.

OBSTRUCTING AN OFFICER: 3:08 a.m. in the 200 block of Union Avenue. A man attempted to evade officers attempting to stop him for a vehicle code violation. He was located, provided a false name and was found to have a warrant.

March 24

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 1:52 a.m. in the 2300 block of Winchester Boulevard. A woman was causing a disturbance. She was found to be too intoxicated to care for herself in public. She also had two bench warrants.

HIT AND RUN: 3:37 p.m. at East Campbell and Union avenues. The victim was rear-ended at a light while waiting to turn. The suspect fled before exchanging information.

GRAND THEFT: 7:30 p.m. in the 3300 block of Winchester Boulevard. A man stole alcohol and fled the scene in a 2015 Toyota.

March 25

DUI: 2:23 a.m. at East Campbell and Union avenues. A driver was stopped for a vehicle code violation and was found to be driving while intoxicated.
