OROVILLE — More than 3,000 people were expected to attend the 19th annual Wildflower and Nature Festival in Riverbend Park on Saturday.
The Feather River Gypsies — Brett Johnson, Nick Capers and Glenn Dawson — opened the day’s entertainment. Other attractions included geode cracker machine at the Feather River Lapidary and Mineral Society’s booth and a blue tongue skink from the Barry R. Kirshner Wildlife Sanctuary that attendees could pet.
