With the Top 10 teams going a combined 26-1, the one loss being Pinewood’s 46-45 defeat to powerhouse St. Mary’s-Stockton, there was no movement at the top.
However, further down the rankings, Oakland Tech is a unique case after the team forfeited six victories due to playing an ineligible player. Oakland Tech was ranked No. 14 last week.
It’s hard to justify having a 4-16 team in the rankings.
If Oakland Tech piles up wins in the Oakland Section and makes the playoffs, then the team can work its way back toward the top.
