School roundabout completed | Photo

Freshly painted yellow crosswalks and brand new road signs have been installed at Chico’s newest roundabout at the intersection of Oleander Avenue and Memorial Way, ready for the first week of class at Chico Junior High School.

Construction of the roundabout began in June as part of the city of Chico’s larger plan to improve The Esplanade’s pedestrian accessibility with a separated and paved Class I bicycle path.
