Estimated read time 2 min read

Local Kitchens, a micro food hall that offers mix-and-match restaurant meals from one kitchen for dine-in, delivery and takeout, will open its newest location — at San Bruno’s Bayhill Shopping Center — on Wednesday.

Dishes from six concepts will be available: The Melt, with Angus-Wagyu blend burgers; Sushirrito’s sushi burritos; Detroit-style pizza from Square Pie Guys; Boba Guys‘ bubble tea, Proposition Chicken’s sandwiches, tenders and salads; and burritos and bowls from Nopalito Taqueria.

On opening day, Wednesday, Jan. 31, the kitchen will start taking online and in-person orders at 10:30 a.m. For a limited time, new customers who download the app can use a Buy One, Get One free entree code (TRYSB) at this location.

Then, at the grand opening party Saturday, Feb. 3, guests may try “jumbo-sized free samples” from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will also be family-friendly games, face painting, raffles and more.

This is the 11th Local Kitchens for Northern California, with the bulk in Santa Clara County (Campbell, Cupertino, Los Gatos, Mountain View and Palo Alto). Two are in Marin (Novato, Mill Valley), one in Contra Costa (Lafayette) and two in the Sacramento region (Davis and Roseville).

Details: Open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at 851 Cherry Ave., San Bruno; www.localkitchens.com
